Madhavan reveals why he rejected Suriya role!!!

R madhavan on Ghajini: Bollywood's chocolaty hero R madhavan is making headlines these days for his recently released film Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. This film based on the life of isro scientist Nambi Narayanan is getting mixed response from the audience. The actor is also in the news for his recent statements, it is being told that this is his publicity stunt for his film Rocketry. However, it is important to mention what is there.

R madhavan and Suriya have recently worked together in the film Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. But do you know that madhavan had refused to do the film, which was later done by Suriya. During instagram Live, R madhavan and Suriya mentioned many things related to them. They complimented each other on the success achieved during their careers in South films. In the midst of this, another thing came to the fore that Suriya's 2005 film 'Ghajini' was first offered to Madhavan.


AR murugadoss wanted to cast madhavan first and not Suriya for his classic film, which was inspired by christopher Nolan's Memento!

Recalling an anecdote about the film during an instagram live with Suriya, R madhavan said, "I was offered a film called Ghajini. I didn't like the story. However, I told murugadoss sir that I would love the second half  but I am not happy. That film finally came to Suriya. I saw that suriya did a great job in that film. Suriya proved it. ghajini Ka Hit It was a big deal. But, I also saw how much effort he put in for that. I remember suriya told me that he didn't eat salt for a week."

The film did wonders at the box office and was remade in bollywood in 2008 starring aamir khan and Asin, giving B-Town its first 100 crore film!
