Mahesh Babu, the acclaimed telugu superstar, embarked on his journey in the world of cinema as a child actor and eventually ascended to become one of the biggest names in the industry. His father, Krishna, introduced him to the world of movies at a young age, laying the foundation for his illustrious career. Mahesh initially gained recognition through his roles as a child actor, setting the stage for his entry into the industry.

However, it was not until 1999, with the release of 'Rajakumarudu,' that Mahesh made his mark as a leading hero. Despite starring in several films following his debut, success eluded him initially. It was the 2003 film 'Okkadu' that marked a turning point in his career, catapulting him to stardom. Subsequent successes, especially with the blockbuster 'Pokiri,' firmly established Mahesh as a superstar in the telugu film industry.

Reflecting on the early days of his career, Mahesh has expressed his dissatisfaction, acknowledging that his films did not achieve significant success in the beginning. The weight of living up to the legacy of his father, a legendary figure in telugu cinema, added to the challenges. Mahesh revealed that he took on projects without much consideration for remuneration during this phase.

In his own words, Mahesh stated, "There is no first half in my career. After 'Okkadu,' everything changed. Courage came. Self-confidence increased." This sentiment suggests that he faced struggles and uncertainties during the initial phase of his career but found a transformative breakthrough with the success of 'Okkadu.'
