Siddhant Chaturvedi's film journey has been no less than a bollywood film plot. He comes from a simple family background. He became a chartered accountant following in his father's footsteps. But during the same time he felt that he should go into the acting field. Since then, the actor worked hard to make his place in Bollywood. However, it was not so easy for Siddhant to make a place in the industry. Web shows, Inside Edge and later Zoya Akhtar's gully boy gave him recognition in the industry. But during this time he had to face rejection many times due to which he also went into a lot of depression. In a new interview, Siddhant talked about his struggles in Bollywood.

When the first big budget film was shelved, he shaved his head

Being an outsider, the journey to bollywood is not easy. Every day, thousands of people come to mumbai with the dream of becoming an actor and face a lot of hardships. Many people's dreams are fulfilled while many return home. Similarly, Siddhant had to face rejection for five years before playing the supporting role of 'MC Sher' in the film Gully Boy. Recently, siddhant chaturvedi revealed in an interview to Mashable india that when he was 21 years old and dreamed of doing something big in cinema, he signed his first film with a big banner production company. Siddhant had told, "I was 21-22 years old at that time, I auditioned for a film and was selected for that role. The workshop+ lasted for six months, so I started grooming my hair and dressing up according to my character. But later the film was closed. After this, whenever I looked in the mirror, I would see only that character. So I shaved my head. It was a big shock for me."

After the film got shelved, mother asked him to do CA

In the same interview, Siddhant told that his friends were preparing for CA exam and after the film got shelved, his mother asked him to do the same. Siddhant told, "I was really depressed, and then for the next three months, until my hair grew, I was in zen mode. All my friends were doing CA, and I had left that too. My mother told me that I should at least sit for CA final, because I was not doing anything anyway. But my father inspired me."
