Actress hansika motwani stunned everyone with her royal outfit for her winter wedding with Sohail Kathuria in Rajasthan. However, it is her wedding lehenga that is still the talk of the town. The moment the first pictures of Hansika's wedding surfaced on the internet, everyone was in awe as her look was traditional. Recently, the designer revealed the making of Hansika's red lehenga.


The official designer page of Rimple & Harpreet shared pictures of Hansika's wedding look and revealed the idea behind her lehenga design. The page revealed that Hansika's wedding lehenga had a stunning peacock motif. It was the panels of the skirt, however, that were designed with floral prints and incorporated pieces of brocade from the 18th century as well as art from the Mughal period

Hansika's outfit was studded with dabka, nakshi, sequins, pearls and semi-precious stones. 

Her Banarasi zari dupatta was layered with a handcrafted bandage pattern. Hansika further enhanced her look with a polki choker neckpiece, nath and maang tika. Hansika's look was complemented with dewy sheen makeup, soft nude lips and soft eyeshadow. A few days ago, hansika motwani shared a picture flaunting her diamond ring.


Hansika's kalire added more charm to her look. Hansika wore a customized kalire with peacock trinkets. Another interesting part of Hansika's wedding look was her lehenga skirt with a peacock motif on the hem.


Kalira is one of the most important ornaments for a punjabi bride. It is an umbrella shaped ornament, made either in gold or silver metal. It is tied by the sisters or sister-in-law of the bride after the chooda ritual on the wedding day. Kalira is a symbol of prosperity and good fortune, which the new bride carries with her as she begins her journey in a new family.
