Samantha Ruth Prabhu adds Disclaimer in Podcast on Supplements After The Liver Doc Row:

Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who previously faced criticism from Dr. Cyriac Abbey Phillips, also known as the liver doc, for advocating hydrogen peroxide nebulisation, has returned with a podcast on supplements. This time, she discusses supplements with David Jockers, a doctor of natural medicine and an author. Notably, samantha has included a disclaimer in her post this time, a contrast to her previous episodes featuring wellness coaches and functional nutritionists. In her past episodes on carbohydrate metabolism, box breathing, and meditation, she didn’t used a disclaimer.

Her new episode in which she talks about supplements, the disclaimer in the caption reads, “The information, including but not limited to, audio, text, graphics, images and other material contained in this episode are for informational purposes only. No material in this episode is intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health care provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition or treatment and before undertaking a new health care regimen, and never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have heard in this podcast.”

This comes weeks after The Liver Doc slammed the actress and called her a “health illiterate”. The doctor has earlier demanded a stern punishment against samantha and stated that she should be put in jail. “In a rational and scientifically progressive society, this woman will be charged with endangering public health and fined or put behind bars. She needs help or a better advisor in her team,” he had written.

On Monday, Dr. Cyriac Abby Philips called out actress Nayanthara for her instagram post praising the medicinal values of hibiscus flower tea. Nayanthara has since deleted her post.
