Recently, producer Preeti Simoes announced a new collaboration with karan Johar’s Dharmatics Entertainment for an upcoming web series based on another intriguing real-life case.
While specifics of the series are still under wraps, a recent report by ETimes revealed that Preeti Simoes would reunite with actress Tamannah Bhatia in the project. She will reportedly feature tamannaah bhatia in the lead role.The news outlet in its report mentioned that a source close to the development stated that Tamannah was the first choice of the makers for the show. “Aakhri Sach was a success for the makers, so they thought of recreating that. The casting of other cast members is still underway. They are talking to a popular actor to play the male lead. Once everything is locked, they would decide when to go on floors,” the report mentioned.
If the reports are to be believed, this will mark the second collaboration between Preeti Simoes and tamannaah Bhatia. They first worked together on Aakhri Sach, which was based on the infamous Burari deaths.
Earlier, Preeti Simoes dropped a picture on her official instagram announcing this collaboration.
