Auspicious Date and Time for tying Rakhi!!!
Raksha Bandhan is a very beautiful festival, and everyone in the family enjoys it a lot. This festival is completed when brothers and sisters meet and the whole family is together, but this year there is a discussion about celebrating Rakhi for two days. Some people are celebrating on 11th august and some people are celebrating it on 12th august, there is a lot of confusion about it. The festival of Rakhi is being celebrated for two days in different states, but there is a secret behind it too. Let us tell you the opinion of astrology on why Rakhi should be held on august 12 in the true sense, and what is its auspicious time.
Auspicious Date and Time
The full moon date of Shukla Paksha of Sawan month starts at 10.38 am on 11th august and ends the next day at 7.05 am on 12th August. Meaning the date is ending on the second day in the evening. Therefore, the 12th of august is the Udaya Tithi i.e. the day the sun rises, the tithi starts on the same day and continues throughout the day. On august 11, when the full moon starts, there will be a Bhadra period in which no auspicious work is done. This means that the festival of Raksha Bandhan should be held on the 12th itself (Auspicious Time) because the Bhadra period is ending at 8 pm on the 11th night. Therefore, the auspicious time is starting on the second day.
It is not possible to celebrate the festival in the two hours for which the Bhadra period is ending on 11th august, so this festival should be celebrated on 12th august when there is no Bhadra period.
