Citroen Basalt car in release; How much does this car cost?

Citroën, which has been piqued the interest of customers by releasing small teasers and photos, has officially revealed the highlights of its coupe-based SUV Basalt, which has made its debut in India. Citroën is going to launch its fifth car in India, having already launched the C3, eC3, C3 Aircross and C5 Aircross in India.

Citroen is yet to announce the launch date of the Basalt car. And even the information about the price of this car is kept secret. However, customers can expect the car to be launched later this month. The starting price of the car is expected to be Rs.10 lakh. And the Basalt SUV will be a great rival to the soon-to-be-launched Tata Curvv.

Platform and design of the car:

We've got information that the Basalt is built on the same platform as the C3 and C3 Aircross. A monochromatic headlight setup, split DRLs, an eye-catching bonnet and a chrome-finished Citreon logo at the front accentuate the signature style.

Talking about the overall design of the car, there are a lot of similarities between this model and the C3 Aircross car. However, Citroen follows a distinctly different approach from other models. As the roof of the car is coupe-shaped, this lineup looks very aesthetic.

Notable Features:

The upcoming model gets stylish dual-tone alloy wheels. The side of the car is given a fairing that enhances its overall beauty.

As for the rear of the car, there are wrap-around LED tail lights to mimic the C3 Aircross, a blacked-out bumper for added protection and a silver-finish skid plate.
