Mahindra Thar Roxx 5-Door: City-Wise Waiting Period Announced

Since its launch in India, the mahindra Thar Roxx (5-door version) has generated considerable excitement on social media. The company is set to begin official bookings on october 3, but reports indicate a lengthy waiting period of three months.

Waiting Period in Various Cities
Even before bookings open, the model is experiencing significant demand. In major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru, the waiting time is around two months, while Chennai, Jaipur, and ahmedabad are facing a three-month wait.

Booking Starts on october 3
Prospective buyers can reserve the Thar Roxx at any authorized dealership across the country or online through the official website by paying a fully refundable deposit of ₹21,000. Deliveries are expected to commence on october 12.

Design and Features
The Thar Roxx maintains the design aesthetics of its three-door counterpart, but its larger size enhances interior space, making it more practical. It features spacious seating and a distinctive front grille with fully LED headlights and integrated round DRLs. The LED indicators are positioned on the bonnet, adding to its visual appeal. Dark-finished cladding on the sides contributes to a more aggressive look.

Engine Options
The vehicle is available with two engine options: a 2.0-liter turbo petrol and a 2.2-liter diesel. The petrol engine produces 159 bhp with a manual transmission (MT) and 174 bhp with an automatic transmission (AT). The diesel variant delivers 149 bhp in MT and 172 bhp in AT.

Price Range
Regarding pricing, the Thar Roxx starts at ₹12.99 lakh, with the top-end 4x4 model priced at ₹22.49 lakh (all ex-showroom). It competes directly with the Force Gurkha 5-door.
