Now every new bike will get 2 ISI certified helmets!

To strengthen road safety in india, Road Transport and Highways minister Nitin Gadkari has announced that now it will be mandatory to provide two ISI certified helmets with every two-wheeler. This announcement made at the auto Summit has received full support of the Helmet Manufacturers Association of India. The purpose behind this step is to reduce deaths and serious injuries in road accidents.

Nitin Gadkari has announced that from now on, while purchasing two-wheelers in the country, manufacturers will give two helmets to customers. These helmets will be ISI certified, which will have to be given compulsorily.

Helmets Manufacturers Association of india President Rajiv Kapoor says that this is not just a rule but a need of the country. How many accidents happen every year?

Recently, Union minister Nitin Gadkari had said that about 4 lakh 80 thousand road accidents occur every year in India. Out of these, 1.8 lakh people die and not only this, many lakh people are also seriously injured.
