Consumer discount of up to Rs 85,000 and exchange bonus of up to Rs 30,000 is being given on the MY24 model, while a total discount of up to Rs 40,000 is being given on the MY25 model.
Price and battery specifications
The starting price of Tata Tiago EV is Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom), which goes up to Rs 11.14 lakh in the top model. This electric hatchback comes with two battery options - 19.2 kWh battery pack which gives a range of 250 km, and 24 kWh battery pack which gives a range of up to 315 km. You can fully charge it in 15–18 hours with a 15 Amp home charger.
Features and safety
The Tata Tiago EV gets premium features like 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 4-speaker Harman audio system, automatic AC, push-button start/stop, cruise control and steering mounted control. At the same time, advanced features like dual front airbags, ABS, EBD, TPMS and rear parking camera have been provided for safety.
Low running cost
Tata Motors claims that the running cost of Tiago EV is just Rs 1.4 per kilometer. In this sense, it is cheaper than options like bike, scooter or metro. Especially for those who drive 30–50 kilometers daily.
