In a chief senior management rejig at the mahindra institution, R. Velusamy has been appointed as president of the automotive enterprise at the same time as Veejay Nakra is about to guide the farm equipment enterprise as its president.


Nakra became the automotive division president in advance, even as Velusamy changed into the automotive generation and product development president. Both Nakra and Velusamy will preserve the document for the government director and auto and farm quarter CEO Rajesh Jejurikar.


Nakra replaces hemant Sikka, who has been appointed as the MD and CEO of mahindra Logistics following the departure of CEO ram Swaminathan.

Mahindra may even combine the SUV and LCV (less than 3.5 tons) businesses under the automotive business president, Velusamy. The position might have stopped giving up responsibility for all capabilities in the car commercial enterprise with P&L shipping," the assertion stated.


Becoming a member of mahindra in 1996, Velusamy became instrumental in the improvement and successful launch of several internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric-powered car (EV) models of the company.


In step with mahindra, the return on capital employed (ROCE) of the farm equipment commercial enterprise is over 60%. Its new president, Nakra, joined mahindra in 1995 and led several successful launches, such as the Scorpio-N and the Thar, in his previous function. He also performed a crucial role in building the enterprise's manufacturing capability and shaping the boom strategy for global groups.
