The 2025 NY Worldwide Automobile Display welcomed a captivating marvel this month: the Fiat Topolino, a small electric quadricycle. This retro-inspired vehicle, a modern-day nod to the enduring Fiat 500 "Topolino" of the nineteen thirties, delivered a dose of Italian flair to the display.
"Topolino" is an Italian word that means "little mouse." In the context of motors, Fiat Topolino became the nickname for a tiny, cost-effective vehicle produced by Fiat from 1936 to 1955. It has become famous for its compact design and affordability, making it one of the smallest cars in the world at the time. "Topolino" is also the Italian call for Mickey Mouse.
The Fiat Topolino is a badge-engineered cousin of the Citroen Ami and Opel Rocks-e, designed for city mobility in EU markets like Italy, France, and Germany.
Measuring just 2.53 meters in length, it boasts a 5.5 kWh battery, an 8 bhp electric-powered motor, and a top speed of 45 kmph. Its 75km variety and compact size make it a fashionable alternative to scooters or golf carts, with a canvas roof and non-obligatory open-door layout evoking the carefree spirit.
It takes 4 hours to charge the Topolino from 0 to 100 percent.
On the show, the Topolino's mint-green outside, round headlights, and retro hubcaps showcased its nostalgic layout.
The Fiat Topolino is available in two editions: the same old 'closed' version and the greater, playful 'open' Dolce Vita version. The Dolce Vita skips conventional doorways in favor of rope limitations and capabilities and a huge canvas roof for a breezy, open-air experience. In comparison, the closed model includes full doorways and a fixed roof as popular.
The Topolino stood out as the smallest automobile on display at the 2025 Big apple Worldwide car Display.
