The shape of a shoe should ideally, compliment the natural shape of your foot. Just as people have different sizes for their feet, the shape also varies from broad and wide to narrow and thin. Some have narrow ankles, some chubby calves; some are flat-footed while some even have two differently sized feet.

Always choose your shoes based on your feet size and never wear heels while walking long distance which may cause back pain.

 

Anything strappy and loose, without proper support becomes difficult for the wearer to walk in. Instead, try colorful tie ups that hold the foot firmly in front. Men with slender feet can try tapering shoes but ensure that they aren't very pointed at the tip. To give the foot more definition, ankle length boots work well too.
