He tweeted, "I would be taking a break from this years IPL from tomorrow. My family and extended family are putting up a fight against #COVID19 and I want to support them during these tough times. I expect to return to play if things go in the right direction. Thank you @DelhiCapitals."


Similarly, Andrew Tye from rajasthan Royals also has left india due to the ongoing crisis situation. Already, rajasthan Royals have missed the services of sevreal overseas players. Now the team is left with only four foreign players Mustafizur, Jos Butler, David Miller and chris Morris. There are several speculations that IPL 2021 might be called off just like PSL was called off earlier.
