Shilpa Shetty and raj Kundra have lodged a complaint lawsuit against sherlyn chopra, and she has issued a statement in response. Sherlyn's attorney, Suhail Shariff, said in a press that the defamatory claim has been used as a "instrument to suppress the administration of truth." The actress had filed a police report at the Juhu police Headquarters on october 14, according to her lawyer. She had also filed a police report against the pair in march, but it was later dropped.

Sherlyn Chopra was recently sued for slander by raj Kundra and shilpa Shetty. On october 14, the starlet also filed a police report against the pair, accusing them of "spawning a treasonous act" and "dishonestly and deceitfully encouraging her to operate on his JL STREAM APP." The starlet detailed the incidents that led to the dismissal of her previous police charges against the pair, which she filed in march of this year. raj Kundra and shilpa shetty have sued sherlyn chopra for blasphemy in the amount of Rs 50 crore.

"However, a defamation lawsuit is used as a sword to impede the pursuit of justice and freedom of expression," Sherlyn Chopra's attorney, Suhail Shariff, said. It is used as a tactic to allow the guilty to flip the screws and convert a victim into a perpetrator. Defamation claims are classified as SLAPP (strategic law against public participation) lawsuits around the world. A SLAPP complaint is meant to suppress, intimidate, and suppress a party by encumbering them with the anxiety and cost of a defense lawyer until they renounce their criticisms or opponents.”
