As a result, in order to meet the demands of passengers, Metro trains will run in chennai today (November 3) and tomorrow till 12 midnight for outbound passengers.

The Metro train service will be extended until 10 p.m. solely on the aforementioned two days, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. during peak hours. From 11 p.m. until 12 a.m., metro trains will run at 15-minute intervals. Following the loosening of the Corona media, public transportation services have been gradually expanded. As a result, on june 21, the Metro rail service was introduced with the first 50 percent seating facility.

Only last month, 29 lakh 69 thousand 388 passengers used the metro. Travel cards were used by 15.94 lakh individuals, while QR code tickets were used by 44,716 persons. On the 13th of last month, a total of one lakh 17 thousand 630 persons travelled. In metro trains and railway stations, precautionary procedures against Corona are in place. A fine is imposed on those who do not wear a helmet. A punishment of Rs 92,400 was imposed on 462 passengers as a result.
