Disaster Recovery Team in TamilNadu

As Rain intensifies in Tamilnadu, many districts have been given red alerts from the Weather Department. As the North-East Monsoon increases, there may be chances of flood due to waterlogging in many areas of Chennai. Heavy rain has lashes in and around chennai since 2015. This may be due to the low pressure formed around the Bay of Bengal. The Disaster Recovery team has arrived in 3 districts from National Disaster Rescue Force Management Centre. One team has been sent to Chengalpattu district and one team to Tiruvallur and two teams to Madurai. Each team consists of around 25 team members.

                The Respective teams have arrived with the rubber and modern boats in response to the request from the higher officials. These teams will be involved in the rescue operation and help people from heavy rainfall. Also, more than 10 crews are made to be on standby for future help. people in low-lying areas are to be evacuated and taken to a safe place. All necessary Action to be taken from the Government. The North and Central chennai received more rainfall and more clouds to be moved in.
