Extreme levels of flood danger in Chennai... 15 IAS officers have been posted at the rate of one per zone!!!

 The ghost rain that started in chennai last evening continued till early morning today. chennai has received heavy rains for the last 6 years. chennai received a total of 207 mm of rainfall overnight alone.

The normal life of the people in various parts of chennai including Egmore, Guindy, Thiyagarayanagar, and in the suburbs of chennai such as Alandur, Pazlavanthangal, Pallavaram, and tambaram have been affected by the rainfall.

The road was flooded in many parts of Chennai. Thus the normal life of the people is completely affected. chief minister Stalin also visited and inspected the flood victims. He urged the authorities to help the people.

Bus and train services in chennai have been affected due to heavy rainfall. airlines have also been affected by the floods at the airport. The government of tamil Nadu is taking serious measures to protect the people not only in chennai but in the whole of tamil Nadu.

The tamil Nadu government has announced the appointment of 15 IAS officers to monitor the impact of the northeast monsoon in Chennai.
