Nehru's birthday boycotted-Congress Leaders displeased

Late Jawaharlal Nehru, the first prime minister of india and also a member of congress was born on november 14th. His birthday is been celebrated as Children's day for his love for children and kids. His birthday was celebrated yesterday in New Delhi. In the parliament, homage will be paid for his image during his every birthday. Yesterday, during the event none of the bjp ruling ministers and the state ministers were present. venkaiah naidu, rajya sabha speaker Vice president, and lok sabha speaker om birla were also not present which aggravated the congress leaders. The leaders expressed their dissatisfaction and unhappiness.

                          This event was held in the parliament which was attended by Babu Pratap Verma, Union minister for small and Micro  Industries. congress leader sonia gandhi was also present gracing the event. Many congress MPs and rajya sabha opposition leader Mallikarjuna karge were also present at the event owing respect to the former leader Nehru. prime minister Modi made a statement conveying his wishes to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. In Rajasthan, a small meeting for the children was held owing to Children's day. Some sources say that om birla, lok sabha speaker was present in the event which is yet to be confirmed.
