Chief minister of tamil Nadu M.K. stalin announced and launched the sale of tamil Nadu Cements Corporation's high-quality new type of cement "Valimai." stalin at the General Secretariat, on behalf of the industry, unveiled the high-quality cement "Valimai" of the tamil Nadu Cements Corporation and began the sale, according to a statement released by the tamil Nadu government earlier.


The Alangulam Cement Plant, which is administered by the tamil Nadu Cements Corporation, was established in 1970 by then-Chief minister Karunanidhi and has a capacity of 2 lakh MT per year. Following that, the tamil Nadu Cement Corporation built two new cement plants in Ariyalur, one with a production capacity of one lakh metric tonnes per year and the other with a capacity of ten lakh metric tonnes. The cost of the cement bag will be just 350-400 Rupees and it is the lowest price ever.


These three facilities have a combined annual output capacity of 17 lakh MT. Under the brand name "Government," tamil Nadu Cements Corporation sells cement. The minister of industry announced the introduction of a new type of cement dubbed "Strength" during the Industrial Grants Request for 2021-22. As a result, tamil Nadu Cements Corporation's high-quality "Strength" cement was launched today. This new "strength" cement has a stronger compression strength, a faster setting time, and is more heat resistant.
