FIR filed against kangana ranaut for 'Derogatory Remarks' against Farmer's protest

Kangana Ranaut in her recent comments on instagram had made derogatory remarks against the Khalistani movement by the farmers to repeal the farm laws. Under Section 295A IPC, the Khar police have filed a case on kangana based on a case filed by Amarjit Singh aged 47 along with the people of delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee. kangana in her instagram posts said that Khalistani are twisting the government and they were smashed like mosquitoes by the former prime minister of India, Indira Gandhi. The FIR was made based on the complaint saying that kangana is hurting the sentiments of a religious community and depicting farmers as Khalistani terrorists. She also brought the 1984 riots into happening to create religious discomfort.

         The posts were written by kangana in both english and hindi from her official account. Akali Dal leader Mahjinder Singh had asked that a case should be filed against kangana as her comment was intentional only. She deliberately made the farmer's protest look like the Khalistani movement.
