Cyclone Jawad: PM Modi directs meeting on cyclone situation

Jawad cyclone may hit Andhra-Odisha coast on december 4th, 2021. Both the governments had made the needed preparation to deal with chaos and calamity in the future. On december 2nd, a low-pressure area is formed near the South andaman sea which would form into a cyclonic storm in the coming 2 days. Between the andaman sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal, the formed low-pressure area may move west-northwestwards and may change into depression in the next 12 hours.

 It may again turn into a cyclonic storm during the next 24 hrs. Very heavy rainfall will occur in the Northside of andhra pradesh from december 3rd to 5th. Cyclone Jawad may hit landfall after two days, the state government of both Andhra and odisha has to gear up to face the cyclonic storm.     
            Andhra cm YS jagan Mohan reddy had a meeting with the collectors of Vishakapatnam, Vizianagaram, and srikakulam and spoke about the measures to be taken ahead. He advised setting up relief camps at the needed locations. He said that the officials to stay alert in low-lying areas.
The odisha BJO government had called the collectors of 13 districts for the evacuation of people. The chief secretary of odisha SC Mohapatra has checked the preparedness of the cyclone. During evacuating, priority will be given to children, elderly persons, and pregnant women. PM Modi chaired a meeting and discussed the situation of the cyclone.
From december 2nd to 4th, express trains and 95 mail trains have been canceled.
