Human Rights Day: Significance and its theme for 2021

Human Rights Day is celebrated globally to raise awareness about the rights that all human beings are entitled to. It is also celebrated due to the Adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948 by the United Nation.

Many Programmes and events are organized around the world to motivate all Governments and Social organizations to emphasize equality and also protection of the rights of all people irrespective of their color, race, religion, or sex. Human rights Day is celebrated on december 10th to symbolize the adoption of UDHR which is the greatest achievement and a milestone document.
             The Theme of the Human Rights Day of 2021 will be 'Equality' which was announced by the United Nations. All Human Beings are equal in rights and Dignity and also born free. The rights of humans are protected by National and international laws globally. The main mission of the theme is to protect human rights around the world globally which is been tasked by Human Rights Council containing 47 members. The human rights of an individual must be protected and also has a great meaning after this pandemic which had led to more poverty around the world.
