The final match of vijay hazare Trophy 2021 was played between himachal pradesh and tamil Nadu in jaipur on Sunday. In the final match, himachal pradesh performed brilliantly and captured the trophy for the first time. 

Under the captaincy of Rishi dhawan, the team reached the finals by performing well in the tournament and after that surprised the cricket lovers by winning the title. 

Coming to bat first, tamil Nadu did not have a good start. The team's 4 wickets fell for just 40 runs. After this, the team scored 314 runs thanks to the brilliant century innings of wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik. Inderjit contributed 80, shahrukh khan 42 and Captain Vijay shankar contributed 22 runs. 

Dhawan took 3 wickets 
Himachal captain Rishi dhawan took 3 wickets for 62 runs in 10 overs in the final match. At the same time, PP Jaswal took 4 wickets giving 59 runs in 9.4 overs while bowling brilliantly. Galetia, Sharma and Rangi got one wicket each. 

Chasing the target of 315 runs, Himachal opener Shubham Arora scored a brilliant century. He scored 136 runs in 131 balls hitting 13 fours and a six. Shubham remained at the crease till the end and eventually returned to the pavilion to give victory to the team. Apart from them, amit Kumar scored 74 and captain dhawan scored 42 runs in 23 balls to give victory to the team. 

Dhawan took 4 wickets in the semi-final 
There was a spectacular sight of Dhawan's bowling throughout the tournament. He took 4 wickets for 27 runs in 8.1 overs in the semi-final against Services.
