Some reports have claimed that the cost has increased due to the increase in the price of fodder. Due to which milk has become expensive in many states and is likely to be expensive in other states.

Milk prices have increased in telangana citing rising cost of milk production. At the same time, karnataka has also said that it can increase the price of milk.

Now the big question is arising whether milk will become expensive in other states of the country as well. What and how much will it affect the pocket of the common man due to the increase in the cost of production and whether the supply of milk is decreasing.

November to march is more production:

Usually, november to march is the time when milk production in the country is above average, but some reports have claimed that this time the production is decreasing from above fodder. Due to the increase in the price, the cost has gone up.

This is the reason why milk can be expensive:

If we look at the prices of cotton seed used as cattle feed , the prices have increased by 50-60 per cent in a year. On january 5 2022, the price of cottonseed was registered at Rs 3300 per quintal, while on 2021 last year, the price was close to Rs 2100.

According to a media report:

According to a media report, when Amul's Managing director RS Sodhi was talked about for production information, he told that in Gujarat, milk production has increased by nine per cent, while the average production has increased by 5-6 per cent across the country as well.

However, RS Sodhi also believes that this year the cost of production of milk has increased a lot. The production of milk has definitely increased, but experts believe that due to Corona, the supply has also been affected.
