aryan Khan Case: Sessions Court's decision will come today, NCB may get time to file the charge sheet
The drugs case involving aryan Khan is being investigated by the Special Investigative Team (SIT) of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). On march 28, the SIT team of NCB moved to the sessions court in Mumbai, seeking more time from the court to file the charge sheet. At the same time, today i.e. on Thursday, NCB has been given more time in the special court. NCB has been given 60 days by the court. However, NCB had sought 90 days' time from the court.
NCB says that the investigation of the drugs case is still going on. The voluntary statement of key arbitrator kiran Gosavi is yet to be recorded. Therefore, the court should give more time to file the charge sheet. The NCB has requested the court to give 90 days time to submit the charge sheet by applying. Significantly, the 180 days given to the NCB to file the charge sheet in the aryan Khan drugs case will be completed on april 2. According to the rules, by april 2, the SIT should file a charge sheet in this case. However, the Special Investigative Team has sought time from the Sessions court before the end of the time.
