Bandi Sanjay, the president of the telangana Bharatiya Janata Party, said on tuesday that he was ready to take on the challenge posed by chief minister K chandrasekhar Rao and telangana rashtra samithi working president K T Rama Rao over the state's treatment by the narendra modi government at the Centre. Sanjay, speaking at a rally in ranga reddy district, said he was prepared to show that KTR's complaints about monies granted by the Centre to the state, injustice done to the state in krishna river water allocation, and the backwardness of the former combined mahabubnagar district were false.
Sanjay claimed he was prepared to show that the kcr government, in conjunction with Andhra Pradesh, signed an agreement with the Centre accepting the allotment of 299 tmc ft of water in the krishna river, rather than the actual share of 575 tmc. He stated that he would stand by his earlier remark that the united mahabubnagar district was still drought-stricken and resembled a desert, and that he was prepared to demonstrate this to the district's residents.
