Indrani Mukherjee was convicted in the Sheena Bora murder Case. Indrani has reacted to the media after being released from jail after so many days. Indrani, who has been lodged in jail for the last six-and-a-half years in the Sheena Bora murder case, was granted bail by a special cbi court on a personal bail of Rs 2 lakh. After that, Indrani has finally been released from Byculla jail today. "I am just happy to be here," she told the media.


What exactly is the case? -

Last 2015, a body was found in the forest of Pen. A forensic examination of the body revealed that the body belonged to Sheena Bora. However, the murder took place in 2012. police later arrested Indrani along with her driver and several others. During the police investigation, it was revealed that Indrani Mukherjee had murdered her daughter with the help of her second husband. Sheena Bora was Indrani's daughter. Her second husband Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shamvar Rai were also charged in the murder case. Her third husband, Peter Mukherjee, has been accused of knowing about the murder. However, the court has already released Peter. She has been lodged in Byculla jail ever since. She had sought bail in the high court for medical reasons.
