Y S jagan Mohan reddy, the chief minister and president of the ysr congress, had been referring to his adversaries as the "four evil powers" (Dushta Chatushtayam). This tag is inspired by the Mahabharata, in which the four wicked spirits are Dhuryodhana, his brother Dushyasana, buddy Karna, and his uncle Sakuni. Like the epic Mahabharata, the word "Dushta Chatushtayam" is well known among people.

He compared the tdp leader Chandrababu Naidu, the owner of Eenadu, Cherukuri ramoji rao, the owner of abn andhra jyothi, Vemuri Radha Krishna, and the owner of TV5, B. R. Naidu, to the four evils who collaborate against the opponents and do everything evil. According to jagan Mohan reddy, the same four evils that originally collaborated against the Pandavas are again plotting against him in Andhra Pradesh. The people of andhra pradesh have adopted the title that jagan Mohan reddy gave them.

When the ysr congress representatives or its leader utter Dushta Chatushtayam, it is not necessary to explain each name. It's interesting to note that ramoji rao and Radha krishna were initially referred to by jagan Mohan reddy as Maricha and Subahu. The names Maricha and Subahu were also derived from the Ramayana, another epic. These two are demons who are Ravana's siblings and relatives. They battle their opponents covertly because no one can see them. To appease their ruler Ravana, they destroy everything without being noticed by anybody outside.
