Komatireddy Rajagopal reddy, a congress member from the nalgonda district's Munugode, behaves in an odd manner. Although he has legally been a member of the congress party, in his heart he belongs to the Bharatiya Janata Party. However, he has not made a choice regarding joining the BJP. Additionally, he hasn't been actively participating in the congress party's programmes in Telangana, which has led to some uncertainty among his supporters and party officials.

In reality, during the most recent meeting of the BJP's national executive committee in Hyderabad, Rajagopal reddy and former Chevella mp Konda Vishweshwar reddy expected to join the party and attend PM narendra Modi's rally in Secunderabad. But Rajagopal refrained from doing that for reasons that he alone knows. According to rumours, he met in private in delhi with Union home minister amit shah and a jharkhand MP. But no further action was taken.

At a crucial meeting with congress party members in the Munugode constituency on friday at Chandur, Rajagopal was scheduled to make an announcement about his plan to join the bjp and resign from his seat in the assembly. According to reports, the mla intended to get feedback from his supporters and assured them that he had the support of the bjp central leadership. He intended to run in the Munugode by-elections.
