However, it appears that the recent success of movies like Bimbisaara and Sitaramam has given suresh Babu new confidence because he unexpectedly scheduled his Saakini Daakini for release on september 16th. Even though Sudheer Babu's Aah Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali is scheduled for a similar day release, suresh is optimistic that he will screen the movie in the appropriate number of theatres to make it worthwhile. Midnight Runners, a Korean action comedy film, was remade as Sakini Daakini. In the telugu adaptation, regina cassandra and nivetha thomas play the characters of two young male police academy recruits attempting to bust a kidnapping ring.
