The first half is executed poorly. The love song featuring the leads is not presented well and lacks originality. heroine falling head over heels for the protagonist is a tired idea. Paayal Rajput's role is largely limited to songs in this commercial film. The second half gets off to a dull start. Even as the events in the final hour prove to be fascinating and compelling, an unnecessary item song suddenly appears. Not every commercial movie requires an item song that doesn't advance the plot. The additional songs just serve to lengthen the movie.

Anoop Singh Thakur and kabir singh are simply like any other villains in mainstream films, and they aren't all that significant. We are reminded of earlier movies in many moments. The character Jeeja's kidnapping of victims is not explicitly shown. Given that it is first presented as one of the main topics, the movie ought to have focused more on this issue.
