Turkish singer Melek Moso cut her hair on stage in protest against the hijab, 76 killed in Iran

Turkish Singer: UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres called on the Iranian government early on wednesday to refrain from using unnecessary or disproportionate force against protesters. Guterres spokesman Stephane Dujarric said: "We are concerned by the reports of increasing deaths, including women and children, related to the protests against the hijab."

Turkish singer Melek Moso cuts her hair on a public stage in favor of protesters who are protesting the hijab in Iran. In a video going viral on social media, the artist can be seen cutting her hair in solidarity with Iranian protesters. Voices are being raised from all over the world in favor of the ongoing protests in iran after the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini in police custody. At least 76 people have died in clashes with security forces during anti-government protests in iran over the hijab.

Ten days after Mahsa's death, the movement has spread to 46 cities in Iran. Video clips circulating on social media showed female protesters cutting their hair and removing their hijabs and setting them on fire in protest against the strict dress code enforced in the country.

This demonstration has now spread to many countries including London, France, and Syria. Protesters have taken to the streets in the US, Canada, Sweden, Austria, Italy, Spain, Germany, iraq, Lebanon, and Turkey. In many places, people are demonstrating in support of hijab opponents in Iran. Protests continue, especially in european countries, against the death of Mahsa Amini, who was killed in police custody.

Iran's Revolutionary Guards launched missile and drone strikes in the Kurdish region of northern iraq on Wednesday. iran called these attacks an action against terrorists. Amid the ongoing anti-hijab protests in the country, they started with fresh drone strikes on the bases of the Kurdish faction in the country. The attacks were centered in Koya, 60 km east of Iraq's Irbil. Two have died in this attack while 15 have been injured. Iranian drones also targeted military camps, homes, offices, and other areas.
