2048 Rescuers..! Ready to face the northeast monsoon..!?

 The tamil Nadu government is taking several precautionary measures to deal with the fact that the Meteorological Center has warned that the Northeast Monsoon will rain more this year. In that line, 2048 disaster rescuers are ready to face the North east Monsoon and the tamil Nadu government is ready to face not only the rain but also the storm, said minister KKSSR. Revenue and Disaster Management minister KKS R Ramachandran reviewed the precautionary measures taken against the Northeast Monsoon at the State Disaster Control Center in Ezhilakam, chennai today.

Out of which 799 people are ready on behalf of tamil Nadu and 1249 people are ready on behalf of the Central Government. The government is ready in every way. 121 multi-purpose centers are ready. Arrangements are made to prevent water stagnation. It is reported that there will be more than average rainfall. There is no word yet on the storm. However, the government is prepared to weather the storm.
Chennai State Control Center No. 1070. district level No. 1077 is given. Security centers are ready at 131 locations. In case of lack of space, private wedding halls in safe areas can be rented and used as per requirement. All district collectorate offices have a control center to monitor precautionary measures and disaster management. Action will also be taken based on the information provided by private meteorologists.
While 10 crore rupees have been allocated in the last budget session to provide weather forecasts exclusively to the tamil Nadu government, a contract has been requested for 100 automatic weather stations and 1400 automatic rain gauges across tamil Nadu.
