Many of the kcr government's new programmes, he claimed, were not benefiting the intended people, and when he tried to bring this to the chief minister's attention, he was not given a hearing. "Despite the fact that the Munugode by-election is in his Bhongir parliamentary constituency, I was not consulted about it. This truly was an insult to me. I've come to the conclusion that I have no voice in the party, so I'm resigning," he stated.

It's interesting to note that Rajagopal Reddy, a bjp candidate in the Munugode by-election, has been receiving indirect support from congress MP from Bhongir Komatireddy venkat Reddy, who in the most recent elections defeated Narsaiah Goud. If his brother wins the by-election, Komatireddy, who is currently avoiding the congress campaign, plans to join the BJP. Even Rajagopal has made suggestions that his older brother would switch to the bjp following the by-election.

However, it's been reported that Komairedddy's plans were disturbed by Narsaiah Goud joining the BJP. Narsaiah Goud reportedly received a party ticket from the Bhongir LS constituency from the bjp leadership. In such case, Komatireddy becomes less significant. It will therefore be intriguing to observe what Komatireddy does next.
