PM Modi gujarat 3-day visit: Tata Airbus Launch!!!
Prime minister narendra modi will be on a three-day tour of gujarat and rajasthan from today i.e. Sunday. He will lay the foundation stone of Tata Airbus Project in Gujarat. In view of the 'Make in India' and 'Self-reliant India' mission, this project is being considered very important. Many other aircraft including the C-295 aircraft to be used for defense transport will be manufactured here. After the commissioning of this project, india will be included in the list of countries that make such aircraft on their own. It is being said that the C-295 will replace the aging Avro-748 aircraft of the air Force.
Till now, only the government company Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) had the work of making army aircraft in India. Now for the first time a private company is entering this sector. For this, the indian company Tata has tied up with Airbus. A deal worth more than Rs 21 thousand crore has been done for this plant to be set up in vadodara, gujarat only last year. Under this project, the indian air Force is to get 56 C295 aircraft.
40 C-295 aircraft to be made at vadodara plant
PM narendra modi will make a three-day visit to gujarat and rajasthan from october 30. He will lay the foundation stone of the C-295 plant and pay tribute to India's first home minister Vallabhbhai Patel. He will participate in the National Integration Day celebrations being organized to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar patel and will address the trainee officers at the conclusion of the 97th Common Foundation Course 'Aarambh 4.0'.
