A small spelling error can sometimes be very expensive, as the congress leader in telangana discovered when he embarrassed the party by typing the word "Todo" in his tweet rather than "Jodo." After meeting congress President mallikarjun Kharge, who was in hyderabad for the yatra and serving as the yatra's coordinator, Dr. Rohin reddy, the state secretary for the congress in telangana, said on Twitter.

"Proud and wonderful moment when @Kharge ji, president of the AICC, praised me for the hyderabad #BharatTodoYatra. Thank you, Sir, for the compliment "State congress leader A. revanth reddy, the national and state twitter accounts for the congress party, and party general secretary K. C. Venugopal were all mentioned in the tweet by Rohin Reddy. He also shared a picture of himself with Kharge and other influential people. telangana congress retweeted it ostensibly without realising the error.

Krishank Manne, the leader of the telangana rashtra samithi (TRS), referred to it as a self-goal of Congress. Krishank, the trs social media coordinator, tweeted: "The Coordinator of rahul gandhi ji's yatra tweets it as "Todo Yatra" and telangana congress Official Handle retweets it as Self Goal Congress." Later, Rohin reddy erased his tweet and then rewrote it with the proper spelling.
