siddharth Reddy, a ysr congress party youth leader and head of the sports Association of Andhra Pradesh, has acknowledged that he had previously considered joining the telugu desam party but had refrained due to a number of factors. In an interview with a media outlet, siddharth acknowledged that he had considered and attempted to join the tdp a few years prior to the most recent assembly elections. "It didn't happen for a variety of reasons. What's wrong with it, he questioned. siddharth claimed that he had been asked to join the party by the tdp leadership.

"Contrary to what some newspapers have stated, I did not do a prostration before anyone to join the party. Let chandrababu naidu tell how many times he had prostrated before my mother, pleading with her to persuade me to join the tdp, if thinking about joining the party amounted to pleading. He claimed that in 2009 and 2014, Naidu had dispatched numerous tdp leaders to persuade him to run for the kadapa assembly seat. "Some tdp officials referred to me as a young politician. Such comments are irrelevant to me. The YSRC leader declared, "They won't gain anything by making such remarks, just as I won't gain anything by referring to their leader as an old guy.

A few months ago, there were rumours that siddharth may leave the YSRC and join the TDP. He reportedly met with tdp general secretary Nara Lokesh, according to reports. siddharth, though, rejected the rumours and dismissed the chatter. "Let them produce proof that I had interacted with Lokesh. I am a dependable lieutenant of the YSRC, and I will always be devoted to jagan Mohan Reddy, siddharth continued. He recalled that the chief minister had appointed him to a prominent position and assigned him responsibility over Nandikotkur. "Why should I leave the party when I have benefited so much from it? All of it is poor propaganda," he emphasised.
