There is a strong debate over the theatre allocation for varasudu, Waltair Veerayya, and Veera simha Reddy for the next Sankranthi season. When asked about it, allu aravind stated, "After Baahubali, the entire indian cinema has become one, and it is impossible to halt dubbed films because the audience is promoting well-made other-language films." However, Allu Aravind's economic logic is highly convenient, especially after experiencing success with dubbed films such as Kantara and others. allu aravind and dil raju are on the same track.

Varasudu, dil Raju's producing endeavour, would be released with Veerayya and Veera simha Reddy during the Sankrathi season. The issue here is that varasudu appears to be getting theatres on par with, if not more than, Veerayya and Veera. This is completely unacceptable. With the films of two senior mass heroes, chiranjeevi and balayya, a dubbed film cannot be given top priority at the box office, especially during a peak season like Sankranthi. It's good if varasudu gets granted screens based on its market. However, elevating it above chiru and Balayya's films is unacceptable. Our audience, according to aravind, will support content films.

Even by that logic, varasudu should be granted the same degree of release as chiru and Balayya's picture next Sankranthi, and if it truly creates more buzz than chiru and Balayya's film, cinemas can be enlarged. However, giving it a better release than the two telugu biggies sounds ridiculous. Why should the telugu public have to witness someone from another state when our two superstars chiru and balayya are accorded considerably less attention in the regions they dominated for decades?
