Delhi police has started its investigation in the Shraddha Walker murder case. The delhi police launched a search operation at the place mentioned by the accused Aftab. The police got the lower part of the skull and jaw from the same place. delhi police found 3 more bones along with the lower part of the skull during the search. In the preliminary investigation by the police, it seems that the jaw found seems to be of a human which has been sent for investigation.
Talking to Media, the secretary of the society in which Aftab's family lived said, Aftab's parents left the house 20 days ago and went somewhere, and their number is switched off.
Delhi police recorded the statement of Secretary Abdullah for about an hour. Aftab's parents lived in Unique Park itself. Abdullah, the secretary of Unique Park, said, "Aftab's family vacated their house 20 days ago and went somewhere. But no information was given to them about where they went." He also gave the contact number of Aftab's family to the delhi police, which is now switched off.
Aftab wanted to erase every evidence of Shraddha
In police interrogation, Aftab told that he first broke the frames of all the photos and then burnt them by setting them on fire with matches in the kitchen. Told them that he wanted to destroy every evidence related to Shraddha. For which he had filled Shraddha's belongings present in the house in a bag on 23 May. The police have also recovered this bag from Aftab's flat. It contains Shraddha's clothing as well as her shoes.
Delhi police interrogated 4 people in Maharashtra
At the same time, a team of delhi police has recorded the statement of four people in Palghar, maharashtra on Saturday, including two people from whom 27-year-old Shraddha Walker had sought help after being assaulted by Aftab Poonawala in 2020. Among the other two people whose statement was recorded by this team, one is the former manager of the call center in mumbai where Shraddha used to work and the other is a friend of hers.
