The song Besharam Rang from the upcoming bollywood film Pathaan, which was published yesterday (12/12) and received 2 million views in just two hours, has drawn criticism. Hatred is being directed against the entire bollywood industry as well as Hindus since deepika is singing a song called Besharam Rang (unashamed colour) while wearing a saffron bikini and sarong. The song has been criticised for being vulgar and disgusting. On Twitter, the hashtag "boycott Pathaan" is trending.

Leggy beauty deepika Padukone dances in a golden and yellow monokini while SRK displays his chiselled abs while watching her. The song is set against a picturesque Mediterranean seaside backdrop. While many people admired vaibhavi Merchant's choreography and the hot chemistry between the two stars, other netizens criticised the film and bollywood in general. First and foremost, they find it disgusting and vulgar that gorgeous, "semi-naked" girls are having fun on the beach. using the phrase "BollywoodkiGandagi." According to one user, this exemplifies Bollywood's attitude toward women, which primarily depicts them as sexual objects.

Some other listeners deemed the song "obscene in nature" and brought up the fact that Uorfi Javed, a social media influencer and tv actress, is currently the subject of a police complaint for the same offence. Javed is the subject of a police report alleging that he performed illicit and lewd behaviours in public and on social media.
