The stats are very frightening. In Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, over the last five days, 98 people have passed away from heart and brain strokes. 44 of the 98 fatalities occurred in hospitals, while 54 people passed away before receiving care. The L.P.S Institute of Cardiology has provided these facts.

Data from Kanpur's Laxmipat Singhania Institute of Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery indicates that 723 cardiac patients visited the hospital's emergency and outpatient departments in the previous week. On Saturday, six patients died while receiving treatment at the Institute of heart Disease, and fourteen patients who had been suffering from a severe cold passed away from a heart attack. There were eight people brought in dead to the institute. At the city's SPS heart Institute, 14 people had passed away in the last twenty-four hours.

The heart Disease Institute is now providing care for 604 patients in total. 54 new patients and 27 older ones are among them. In these weather, patients should be sheltered from the cold, according to Vinay Krishna, director of Cardiology. According to a professor at Lucknow's king George's Medical university (KGMU), "Heart attacks are not just a problem for the elderly during this cold snap. Even teenagers have experienced heart attacks in some situations. Regardless of age, everyone should stay as warm and indoors as possible."
