thota chandrasekhar, a renowned Kapu politician from guntur and a former IAS officer, just joined telangana chief minister K chandrasekhar Rao's Bharat Rashtra Samithi, and there appears to be more going on than first appears. M. Raghunandan Rao, a member of the bharatiya janata party from Dubbak, claimed on tuesday that thota chandrasekhar had become the president of the Andhra BRS over night as a result of KCR's shady dealings for a sizable piece of real estate in Hyderabad.

According to Raghunandan Rao, kcr had authorised the transfer of a 40-acre plot of property at survey No. 78 in miyapur, valued at close to Rs 4,000 crore, to thota Chandrasekhar's Aditya Construction Private Ltd. The land originally belonged to the state government, but the previous chief secretary Somesh Kumar allegedly gave it to thota chandrasekhar on the orders of the chief minister while working with collector Amoy Kumar. If there was a disagreement regarding the parcel of land, he questioned why the state government had not filed a lawsuit against it in the supreme Court.

He recalled that the government had submitted an SLP to the supreme court in the instance of eight acres of contested land involving Musaddilal group owner Sukhesh Gupta. Why didn't the government dispute the 40 acres of miyapur lands case, he questioned, "when it can challenge the Sukhesh Gupta case in the sc for eight acres?" According to Raghunandan Rao, thota chandrasekhar paid for the full cost of KCR's public gathering in khammam as payment for granting favour for the miyapur lands.
