In relation to the delhi excise policy scandal, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is set to question Ongole congress PARTY' target='_blank' title='ysr congress-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>ysr congress MP Magunta Sreenivasulu reddy alongside Arun Ramachandra Pillai. The investigating agency called reddy on friday and asked him to come in on Saturday. Magunta Raghava reddy, the MP's son, was previously detained in the fraud.

In the supplemental charge sheet, the ED alleges that Vijay Nair, acting on behalf of AAP leaders, accepted kickbacks from the South Group, which includes prominent members Magunta Srinivasulu reddy, Raghav Magunta, Sarath reddy, and K. Kavitha, the daughter of telangana chief minister K. chandrasekhar Rao, in the amount of Rs 100 crore.

Businessman gautam Malhotra of punjab and a Vijay Nair associate named Rajesh Joshi were both taken into custody by the ED. Joshi allegedly received funding from Nair for the goa election. According to the ED, this money was obtained through the excise policy fraud as the proceeds of crime. Magunta Raghava reddy has been detained as a result of their investigation. The ED is currently looking into the situation more. We would get a complete clarity in this matter in a few weeks time and we need to wait.
