AAP poster Case: 6 Arrests Over Anti-Modi Posters...

A case has come to light of putting up objectionable posters against prime minister Narendra Modi in Delhi. Taking action, delhi Police has registered 100 FIRs and arrested 6 people. In the matter of putting up these posters, the names of aam aadmi party (AAP) workers are coming to the fore. delhi Police says that a vehicle that came out of AAP's office has also been seized, from which many objectionable posters have been recovered. The case is being investigated.

Deependra Pathak, Special Commissioner of delhi Police has told, '100 FIRs have been registered and 6 people have been arrested in connection with putting up objectionable posters against PM Modi and others across the city. There is no information about the printing press on these posters. FIRs have been registered under relevant sections of the Printing press Act and Defiance of Property Act.

The car left from AAP's office

Police said that a vehicle that came out from the office of aam aadmi party was stopped and searched as soon as it left the office. Several posters have been found of this vehicle. A case is registered under the Defamation Act when posters are put up on public properties without permission.
