Agalya, a young woman from a low-income household, wins a car in a lucky draw at the beginning of the movie. Her mother, father, and silent sister all predeceased her. However, problems arise when Agalya's estranged brother, who won the lucky draw, asserts that he is the real winner. Thenmozhi, Agalya's mute sister, reveals another bombshell as Agalya muses over how to handle her egotistical brother and the amorous inspector managing the case. She tells Agalya that the car's trunk contains a dead body. The remainder of the narrative focuses on Agalya's efforts to resolve this difficult problem despite her financial difficulties.

The seamless performance of aishwarya Rajesh, which compels us to sit through the movie despite its imperfections, is one of the finest things about viewing one of her movies. She excels in every role she plays and makes them seem very plausible, whether it be in The Great indian Kitchen or any of her other movies. Having said that, Soppana Sundari seems like a movie that wants to be an intriguing dark comedy but deviates a little bit as it goes along.

While the humor in the finale and pre-interval sections mostly succeeds, there are a few potentially intriguing moments that frequently fall flat. In a few situations, there is an unneeded pause intended to elicit laughing, which is extremely obvious in the second half. The part where Agalya's mother outlines her strategy for resolving their financial crisis, however, is pretty comical. When her two daughters support her decision, the situation gets even more intriguing.

It's important to note that the entire group gives strong performances despite a few flaws. With the material given to them, they gave it their best effort. Despite having little on-screen time, lakshmi priya Chandramouli did the character justice. The concept is fantastic, especially as there is plenty of room for amusement since the entire dispute revolves around an automobile that was the lucky winner of a contest. The writing, though, might have been a lot better and is a little erratic.

But the film's technical accomplishments occasionally lift a few scenes. The background music resembles Pa Ranjith's Madras' OST just a little bit. However, it contributes to making the joke funnier.

Although Soppana Sundari is a respectable effort, it doesn't have enough impact to win our hearts.
