Bengaluru ranks first among India's top high streets!!!
According to Knight Frank, Somajiguda in hyderabad and Linking Road in mumbai are in order of preference among the top 30 high streets in India. Bengaluru's MG Road is ranked first overall. Delhi's South Extension (Part 1 and Part 2) is ranked fourth.
The criteria used to rate high streets are those that influence the level of customer service they offer. According to real estate advisor Knight Frank india, Bengaluru boasts the greatest high streets that offer a noticeably better shopping experience, with four of its markets making the top 10.
The consultancy published a report titled "Think india Think Retail 2023 - High Street Real Estate Outlook" after conducting a primary survey of 30 high street locations in eight key indian markets. Parking, accessibility by public transportation, store visibility, spending percentage, and average trade density are the five factors used to rank locations.
The streets of Kolkata, Park Street and Camac Street, Chennai's Anna Nagar, Bengaluru's Commercial Street, Noida's Sector 18 Market, Bengaluru's Brigade Road, and Bengaluru's Church Street are in order of importance. The top 10 high streets include those that are easily accessible, have parking, and have a wide range of retailers.
