The first image of the throne honouring Lord Hanuman has appeared online with just a few hours until Adipurush's release. In a picture arriving from Baroda, a theatre owner has chosen a seat in one of the rows of the screen where Adipurush would be shown and decorated it in Lord Hanuman's honour. As a gesture of respect, it was earlier disclosed that theatre owners would reserve one seat in each screening of Adipurush, starring prabhas and Kriti Sanon.
A garland was placed on the seat in the theatre in Baroda where a framed photograph of Lord Hanuman with Lord ram and Sita was displayed. The bench was covered with a few flower petals and a saffron scarf was draped over it. The picture has already gone popular on the internet.
Om Raut, the director of Adipurush, requested that a seat be set aside for Hanuman, and the theatre owners agreed. As a sign of respect for Lord Hanuman, Raut asked the film's producers to reserve an empty seat in each theatre where the movie is shown during a trailer event for the movie in Tirupati. The reverence and appreciation of Lord Hanuman's spiritual presence during the screening of the movie "Adipurush" is symbolised by this action, he explained.
There were rumours that the reserved seat would be more expensive than regular seats after the request and the news that a seat would be set aside in the Lord's honour. T-Series, the film's production company, responded to these allegations on twitter on Monday.
