Eid-ul-Adha: Traditional Bakrid Dishes!!!
Eid-ul-Adha, often referred to as Bakrid or the festival of Sacrifice, is a joyful day that Muslims everywhere in the globe observe. During this joyous event, there are group prayers, a sacrifice rite, and delectable feasts that are prepared. When discussing Bakrid, wonderful cuisine is never completely out of the picture.
Biryani - Unquestionably, the centrepiece of any Eid-ul-Adha feast is the biryani. Both children and adults love this flavorful rice dish, which is packed with delicate mutton or chicken, aromatic spices, and saffron-infused rice. This results in a dish that is rich, aromatic, and immensely gratifying since the slow cooking procedure allows the flavours to mingle together.
Boti Kebab - Without a variety of delectable kebabs, no Eid feast is complete. Tender slices of marinated meat, typically lamb or beef, are used to make boti kebabs. A flavorful mixture of fragrant spices, including ginger, garlic, cumin, coriander, and chilli powder, are meticulously applied to the meat before it is skewered and cooked to perfection. The scrumptious meat gets a charred texture and a smokey flavour from grilling.
Qorma - During Eid-ul-Adha, many people have a particular place in their hearts for qorma, a flavorful and aromatic meat curry. Tender pieces of lamb or chicken are cooked in this dish's creamy sauce, which is made of yoghurt, flavorful spices, and a smidge of nut paste. The ideal accompaniments to qorma are naan or steamed rice.
